Research Program Director
Anita Hattiangadi directs the USMC & Defense Workforce Program. She is an expert in military manpower topics, including recruiting, end strength, manpower management, compensation and retention. Hattiangadi oversees a portfolio of about 20 studies for Department of Defense, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps sponsors.
Prior to joining CNA in 2000, Hattiangadi was an economist at the Employment Policy Foundation.
Hattiangadi has an M.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and a dual B.A. in Economics and French from the University of Rochester.
