CNA HONORS JERRY MEYERLE FOR EXCEPTIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO US NATIONAL SECURITY

CNA Principal Research Scientist Dr. Jerry Meyerle has been honored with the Phil E. DePoy Award for Analytical Excellence. Over the past 16 years, he has led studies for Congress, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and intelligence community that have had a major impact on military planning. Meyerle has served in the CNA Field Program as an advisor to military commanders in Afghanistan, on a carrier strike group, and at U.S. Central Command. He is the author of On the Ground in Afghanistan: Counterinsurgency in Practice. Meyerle works in CNA’s Fleet Plans and Requirements Program.
