Keri Richardson
Senior Research Specialist


Keri Richardson is an expert in criminal justice with specialized knowledge in technical assistance needs for local law enforcement agencies. She currently serves as senior research specialist in CNA's Center for Justice Research and Innovation. She has over five years of experience in training and technical assistance coordination, organizational reform, and community-focused approaches to policing. At CNA, Richardson works with police agencies of various sizes throughout the country to support public safety initiatives. She works closely with local agencies and communities to support collaborative strategies that promote community safety. Through her years of work in the criminal justice field, Richardson has conducted numerous assessments for police agencies and developed substitutive recommendations. Through these recommendations, departments have improved their operations, advanced their goals, and improved their community engagement efforts. Richardson has a B.S. in criminology and criminal justice and a M.A. in public administration from the University of Maryland, College Park.
