
Ryan Loomis
Associate Research Analyst
BIOGRAPHY
Ryan Loomis is an Associate Research Analyst in CNA's China & Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Division. His recent research topics include Chinese efforts to shape foreign information environments and Chinese military concepts. Prior to joining CNA, Loomis worked as a teaching and research assistant at Stanford University and later the Hoover Institution, where he focused on US-China strategic relations and equities in the Western Pacific. Loomis has a bachelor of arts in Chinese and international relations from Colgate University and a master's degree in East Asian studies from Stanford University, where he was a FLAS Fellow. He studied Mandarin at Peking University in Beijing.
