Systems Engineer III
Ashish Khatta is an expert in data management, database design and database programming. He is well versed in providing comprehensive systems engineering support, database design, data quality, requirements analysis, risk assessments, systems design, data analysis, traffic flow analysis, hardware cost estimates, business process analysis and documentation.
Khatta's recent research projects include providing systems engineering and data management support to the National Airspace System (NAS) data repository. The NAS data repository maintains aeronautical data in support of the FAA's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program, ATO litigation, accident investigations, and other FAA organizational safety programs. Khatta performs short term, ad-hoc operations in addition to responding to urgent requests from high-level management at the FAA and the FAA Command Center. Khatta has also provided information and data management support for the FAA's NextGen office as well as in support of other FAA organizations.
Prior to joining CNA, Khatta was a software engineer with TRW Inc supporting the FAA Free Flight Office.
Khatta has a master's degree in information systems, database design from the University of Maryland. He also has a systems engineering certification from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
