BIOGRAPHY
Steven Habicht is an expert in integrated technical project management (including systems engineering and data management) applied to federal IT system modernization efforts. He has over nine years of experience working with both government and external clients providing various forms of project management and system engineering support, including data management and modeling support, system design and requirements analysis, enterprise architecture (EA) product development, and business process analysis and improvement.
Habicht has developed concepts of operations (CONOPS) to describe mission needs and system capabilities, and developed system architectures to describe the design and integration of solution components. He has led data mapping exercises to validate data models for new data management systems, and he has created data migration strategies and plans that were used to migrate data from existing legacy databases into the new system. As a lead systems engineer, he has coordinated the development, implementation, and testing of requirements for both operational systems and research prototypes.
Habicht has Ph.D. in chemistry from Purdue University. He is an INCOSE-certified systems engineer and a PMI-certified project manager.
