
Benjamin Carleton

BIOGRAPHY
Benjamin Carleton is an expert in law enforcement and criminal justice research, and in the coordination of training and technical assistance for law enforcement stakeholders. His current research topics include officer safety, victim services, and police-community relations. Prior to joining CNA, Mr. Carleton was an investigator with the Children's Law Center, where he assisted guardian ad litem attorneys in their representation of children and teens involved in the Washington, DC, child welfare system. He previously worked as a research intern with the Vera Institute of Justice's Policing Program. Mr. Carleton has a bachelor's degree in political science, sociology, and Spanish from the University of Delaware.
