Tanya Saloom joined the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA) Resources and Force Readiness Division in 2017 and serves as an Advisor to the Health Analytics and Medical Readiness team. Tanya brings with her over a decade of experience in healthcare, research methodology, and analytics while working at several large health systems during their electronic health record deployments. During her time at Duke University Health System, she was involved in projects aimed at evaluating the impacts of health information technology on quality, finance, population health, and safety. Prior to joining CNA, Tanya was part of enterprise level initiatives at Inova Health System where she provided data and analytics advisory support to clinical transformation programs as well as designed comprehensive analytics packages to improve these quality efforts.
Tanya obtained her BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and her Master of Public Health from Yale University in Chronic Disease Epidemiology with a focus in Biostatistics.
