
Shannon Desrosiers, Ph.D.

BIOGRAPHY
Shannon Desrosiers is an expert in military manpower topics, including recruiting, training, retention, and unemployment. She is the Scientific Analyst to Marine Corps Training and Education Command and was previously the Scientific Analyst to Marine Corps Recruiting Command. Her recent research topics include recruiting and retaining female Marine aviators, attracting women to the Army, the Marine Corps' trimester phasing accession strategy, and the effect of Navy credentialing on veteran unemployment.
Prior to joining CNA, Desrosiers was a research assistant and teaching assistant at Boston College, instructor at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and research assistant/programmer at Mathematica Policy Research, Inc.
Desrosiers has a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College. She also has a dual B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
