Training and Technical Assistance

CNA evaluates national TTA programs, such as the Bureau of Justice Assistance National Public Safety Partnership by tracking and measuring outcomes throughout each city’s three-year tenure in the partnership. Through our TTA, the Public Safety Partnership has successfully helped more than 40 agencies implement evidence-based practices, increase capacities to reduce violent crime, network with law enforcement peers, improve investigative and prosecution practices, and enhance analytic and technology capacities.

Four Aspects of Technical Assistance

CNA designed the Officer Readiness Assessment Tool, which assesses a law enforcement agency’s wellness program and provides them with tailored methods and resources to immediately implement improvements.

Training Delivery and Curriculum Development

Our team has the curriculum development knowledge and experience needed to execute programs at a high level.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNITY RESPONSES TO MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

CNA developed the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Effective Community Responses to Mental Health Crises curriculum, a course that emphasizes creating problem-solving relationships between police and mental health partners.
