Biographies

Ralph Espach is a senior research scientist in CNA's Strategy and Policy Analysis Program. He is an expert on inter-American security relations, especially regarding Central America and Brazil, the security implications of climate change, and security cooperation.

Román Ortiz is a professor at the U.S. National Defense University and vice president of the Cordillera Applications Group Corporation

Joseph Tulchin was a professor of Latin American History at Yale and then at the University of North Carolina before he moved to Washington, DC to become Director of the Latin American Program at the WWICS.
