Hildy Saizow is an expert in police-community collaboration, community engagement processes, gun and youth violence prevention, qualitative research, and community assessment.

At CNA, she has worked on youth violence assessments, community policing evaluations, trauma informed and collective healing practices, and training and technical assistance for law enforcement. Saizow received the Safety and Security Impact Award for her work on community violence intervention.

Prior to joining CNA, Saizow served as a national consultant and subject expert on justice system and violence prevention issues, an advocate for gun violence prevention at state and local levels, and the executive director of a national criminal justice statistics association.

Saizow has a master's degree in the administration of justice from the American University.
