Joseph Kwon

Joseph Kwon specializes in modeling and simulation in CNA’s Data Science Division. Some of his notable projects include the Navy Performance to Plan efforts to use machine learning and predictive analytics to improve effectiveness of the surface warfare enterprise (P2P SWE) and cybersecurity (P2P Cyber). In a CNA-funded project, he developed large language model tools, for which he was nominated for the Data Science Division Innovation Award.
Kwon has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. He speaks Korean and Japanese.
