Systems Engineer II

Kasia Jaskowska specializes in systems engineering, cybersecurity, and mission-driven program support. At CNA, she supports Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initiatives focused on integrating uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) traffic management (UTM) into the National Airspace System. Her work includes developing system requirements, assessing cybersecurity strategies, and delivering analytical insights informing agency decision-making and operational readiness.

Jaskowska’s notable CNA assignments include leading research and integration efforts for the FAA's Office of the NextGen and Air Traffic Safety Oversight Services Office. She helped develop enterprise identity and access management strategies, end-to-end architecture, and interface design for the Conformance Monitoring for Situational Awareness capability and assessed cybersecurity risks in UTM data exchanges. She also supported the development of a conceptual cross-domain autonomous system solution for port security and emergency response planning.

Prior to joining CNA, Jaskowska served as a project manager at Gilbane, Inc., where she led complex healthcare transition projects. Her work included workflow analysis, risk assessments, business continuity planning, and readiness coordination to support safe and effective facility activation and organizational transition.

Jaskowska holds a Master of Science in engineering management and systems engineering from George Washington University and a bachelor's in international business and supply chain logistics from the University of Maryland.
