Educational Attainment. Almost one-in-five
of Coast Guard Reserve officer accessions and officer corps members (both 19 percent) were not college graduates (Table 8.16). As was mentioned for the Active Component officer corps, USCG has specialized programs
that offer commissions to enlisted members who are traditionally less likely to have college credentials.
