Arpita Verma

Arpita Verma is an expert in optimization, modeling, and simulation in CNA's Data Science Division. Her research focuses on the employment of operational concepts to shape future force structure. Some of her notable projects include leading the development of a suite of machine learning and optimization models to inform employment strategies for uncrewed fleet and implementing predictive analytics to improve readiness in public naval shipyards—part of the Navy’s Performance to Plan (P2P) program. She recently received a Center for Naval Analyses award for project management excellence.

Verma holds a Master of Science degree in computer science, with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
