
Kevin Inks
Kevin Inks is a specialist in geographic information systems (GIS), spatial statistics, GeoAI, and data analysis. He also has expertise in qualitative and ethnographic field research methods, as well as cartographic design and data visualization. At CNA, he has participated in field deployments with FEMA's Continuous Improvement Program, contributed to CNA's AI Maturity Model, and produced a variety of maps, visualizations, and innovative data analysis approaches.
Inks is currently finishing his PhD dissertation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where his research focuses on mapping differential outcomes of flood and erosion management on India's Brahmaputra River. He has a Master of Science in geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Bachelor of Arts in geography from Ohio State University. CNA’s Safety and Security Division has presented him with their Innovation Award.
