Associate Research Analyst

Braeanna Hillman is a specialist in stakeholder outreach and engagement, training development, data collection and management, emergency response, and local emergency preparedness planning.

At CNA, she has worked on notable assignments supporting the District of Columbia, including developing all-hazards emergency service and mission plans. She provided COVID-19 technical and data support for the Department of Human Services' vaccination program and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education's testing program. She also supported data analysis for a gun violence ecosystem assessment for the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice. Hillman has received CNA’s Safety and Security Initiative Award and CNA’s Deployer Award.

Before joining CNA, she supported hurricane and infectious disease responses and operational planning for the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health.

Hillman received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
