
Lars Hanson
Lars Hanson is an expert in emergency management planning and resilience of critical community lifeline networks and infrastructure systems. He is the lead analyst for CNA's supply chain resilience practice area and supports geospatial analysis, energy, water, catastrophic planning, and logistics projects.
Prior to joining CNA, he worked as regional water resources planner for the Central Pines Regional Council in Durham, North Carolina, and as a water resources engineer for GKY & Associates and for CDM Smith.
Hanson holds a Master of Science in water resources engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering and public policy. He is also a professional engineer and Natural Resources Leadership Institute fellow. In CNA’s Institute for Public Research, he has won the Analytic Impact Award and the Innovations Award.
