CNA Futures Initiative
CNA's Futures Initiative (formerly the Project on American Justice) is designed to explore and address the evolving challenges and opportunities within the criminal justice system. Launched to provide strategic insights and innovative solutions, the project focuses on the integration of advanced technologies, community engagement, and policy development to enhance effectiveness within law enforcement and public safety at large. By leveraging the latest research and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, the project aims to prepare law enforcement agencies for future demands and complexities. Key areas of research include organizational change, ethical considerations in the use of AI and other technology, and the development of best practices for modern policing strategies.
