STRIKE AND AIR WARFARE Program

CNA scientists contribute independent analyses to the testing of new aviation systems and the development of tactics to optimize the effectiveness of existing aircraft. The more than 30 analysts in the Strike and Air Warfare Program include field representatives deployed to key locations for aviation testing and tactics:

  • TOPGUN/Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center
  • Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) Operational Test Team
  • Carrier Strike Group 12 (Air Wing 8 aboard USS Gerald R. Ford)
  • Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Nine
