  2. The Population Representation in the Military Services Report (POPREP) uses data from DMDC. Breakouts of accessions by service component and 
      non-prior service/prior service designation will not match reports by individual services because of differences in defining defining prior service accessions. 
  3. In FY 2003, there was a change in the way DoD reported race/ethnicity data. The new race/ethnicity data were not available for all services until after the first 
      quarter of FY 2003.  Therefore, DoD race/ethnicity data only represent the last three quarters of FY 2003.
