There are many analysts at CNA with master degrees and Ph.Ds in subjects like economics, abstract algebra, even law degrees. But when they’re hired, they generally don’t work in the area they studied. Take CNA’s Dr. David Broyles, for instance. He has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry but has recently worked on everything from the Haiti earthquake to irregular warfare.
