National Security Aspects of Cyber Policy:
Cyber Offense, Resilience, and the Way Ahead

There will be sessions on each of the following topics: (1) cyber offense, including requirements, adversaries, and deterrence; (2) resilience, including requirements, architectures, operations, and scale; and (3) the way ahead for cyber security, including enhanced R&D and building effective cyber warriors.

  • Resilience: Harriet Goldman, MITRE; Edward G. Amoroso, AT&T Chief Security Officer and Senior Vice President; Catherine Lotrionte, Georgetown University; Robert Butler, Chairman, Texas Cyber Security, Education, and Economic Development Council (via teleconference)
  • Way Ahead: John Mallery, MIT; Cyber Command; Chris Demchak, Naval War College (invited)

Franklin D. Kramer, Senior Fellow at CNA and former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, will moderate the sessions.
