Event: CNA National Security Seminar Series – Aug 9

The Honorable Christine H. Fox, the Pentagon’s Director, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation will discuss “The New Defense Strategy, Our Programs that Support It, and our Current Challenges.” Ms. Fox, who assumed her position in November, 2009, is the principal staff assistant to the Secretary of Defense for analyzing and evaluating plans, programs, and budgets in relation to U.S. defense objectives and resource constraints.

Christine Fox formerly served as the President of the Center for Naval Analyses and as the scientific analyst to the Chief of Naval Operations. Prior to her appointment as President of CNA, she was the Vice President and Director of CNA’s Operations Evaluation Group. Christine Fox holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from George Mason University and a B.S. in Mathematics from George Mason University.
