Encouraging Girls in Math and Science: A View from the Field Webinar

Overall, women continue to make strides in higher education-more than 50 percent of undergraduate students are female. Yet, STEM fields remain largely dominated by males.
Guests will discuss evidence-based strategies for improving female outcomes in the fields of math and science. The IES Practice Guide, Encouraging Girls in Math and Science will serve as the basis for discussion, and participants will have the opportunity to hear from a range of women who have successfully transitioned into STEM fields.
