Event: CNA to Host Book Discussion – Dec. 6

December 6, 10:00 a.m.-noon, CNA Board Room — Norman Polmar will discuss findings from his latest book (co-authored with Michael White) Project Azorian: The CIA and the Raising of the K-129.  Project Azorian (often incorrectly identified as Project Jennifer) was the 1974 CIA operation to salvage the sunken Soviet ballistic missile submarine K-129 from the North Pacific Ocean. In their book, Polmar and White argue that Azorian was the most ambitious ocean-engineering endeavor attempted by man -- comparable to the 1969 moon landing in its level of technological achievement.  For more information contact Loretta Ebner
