    CNA hosts roundtable: "Alternative Futures: Branches and Sequels in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria."
    Two of America's top Arabists. Ambassador Ryan Crocker, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Near East and chief of mission in Syria, Kuwait, and Lebanon, and Graham Fuller, a former CIA station chief and NIO for the Near East and South Asia, will discuss the topic.

    CNA hosts a National Capital Region (NCR) SARS planning workshop. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a SARS preparedness plan drafted by CNA. The meeting brings together all the regional public health leaders to discuss the plan.

  • CNA Hosts Workshop on Social Change and Dissent in Iran

    Workshop examined the issue of social change and dissent in Iran. Iranian society today is overwhelmingly young, literate, and underemployed. Five speakers will look at social and demographic trends in Iran as drivers of change.
