From 2000 - 2005, the Appalachian Technology in Education Consortium (ATEC), funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, provided education policymakers, administrators, and practitioners in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia with a wide range of on-demand solution strategies on matters relating to education, research and evaluation.
