Theresa King is executive assistant to the vice president/director of CNA’s Advanced Technology & Systems Analysis (ATSA) division. In addition to supporting the division vice president/director, King assists and advises ATSA’s staff, which includes more than 80 staff members both onsite and offsite. Other duties include maintaining informational databases and creating and tailoring presentations, documents, and correspondence. King also plans and organizes logistics for conferences and other major events. She tracks and maintains security clearances and serves as an escort to the Pentagon. King backs up the administrative support team as well as supports ATSA’s research teams.

Prior to her position with ATSA, King served as the business development administrator for CNA, providing support to the vice president of Corporate Business Development and the Business Development team. Her duties included the administration and consolidation of proposals and other documents, as well as serving as the administrator for the Institute for Public Research (IPR) Business Development SharePoint site. She was also the primary liaison working with project consultants, maintaining all records, documents, and invoices for each engagement as well as providing general and specific administrative support to the IPR divisions.

Before joining CNA in 2011, King was the executive administrative assistant at ICF International supporting several divisions. Duties included coordinating daily activities of executive management and providing strategic support to a team of more than 20 management members. King was also involved in several projects, including the coordination of a health training conference for the Military Healthcare Project and collecting data from focus groups for the District of Columbia Cancer Center. King has participated in field projects for the Applied Organization Research group, including data collection, group interviews, and logistical coordination for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection project, the Top-Off 4 project for the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Marine Corps Base Facility Assessment.

King holds an Associates of Arts Degree in Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from Butler County Community College, Butler, PA.
