Shawna Cuan

Shawna Cuan has been with CNA since 2010 as a Research Specialist on the Corporate Business Development team. In this position, she supports CNA’s competitive domestic businesses under the Institute for Public Research. Specifically, she monitors and tracks procurement opportunities with foundations and local, state, and federal agencies, manages and develops content for proposals, and conducts research for business development needs.

Prior to coming to CNA, Cuan interned for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars' Environmental Change and Security Program under Geoff Dabelko. She was also a Project Associate with the Global Environmental Governance Project while it was under the direction of the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy.

Cuan received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is currently earning a master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
