Renee A. Fye, Ph.D. has been working for CNA for about 14 years. In that time she has worked on several projects including the analysis of Tomahawk missile real world operation reconstruction and naval logistics issues. She completed her field assignment as CNA Representative for Cruiser Destroyer Group 12 on board the USS Enterprise and supported the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL) Technology Division for three years, accessing new promising technologies for future and current USMC operations.

Project Experience
Navy logistics studies (May 2009 - present)
Support of core logistics studies, including study of customer ship trends, underway activity of fleet oilers, impact of BMD ships on the logistics force, and fragility of logistics CONOPS during a major WESTPAC combat operations.

Various ESS studies support (May 2008 - May 2010)
Contributed to analysis of the impact of sea state on at-sea operations, China amphibious capabili¬ties study, and effects of weapon modernization on Marine Corps operations.

Lead Technology Division Analyst at the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (May 2005 - May 2008)
Support of experimentation with novel technologies with potential for future or current USMC operations. Duties include experiment design, execution, data collection, data analysis and final report of technology assessment.

High Speed Vessel in support of WestPac Logistics (June - December 2004)
Study of potential use of a high speed vessel in a logistics roll in the Seventh Fleet area of operations. New missions and requirements are leading to small groups of ships operating outside the normal logistics channels in Seventh Fleet. We analyzed whether an HSV can support these outlying ships.

CCDG-12 Field Representative (September 2000 - November 2001)
Field Rep through the USS Enterprise Battle Group inter-deployment training cycle (IDTC) and deployment. Studies focused on JSOW employment, staff Ship/Unit scheduling tools, TLAM, and data collection for Operation Enduring Freedom.

Tomahawk launch performance and battle damage assessment (December 1998 - August 2004)
Calculated the success rates for launch of Tomahawk missiles in real-world operations, studied factors influencing launch performance and determined recommendations for back-up planning factors based on launch performance analysis for optimal employment of available inventory. Worked on presentation of Battle Damage Assessment of Tomahawk missiles in Operations Desert Fox, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom using an interactive PowerPoint file.
