At CNA, I get to do what I love to do - help people.
Carey Kellam has been with CNA for over 25 years. During that time, he's held a number of positions at CNA including courier, technician, systems analyst, and user-support team leader. Today he is a manager in the IT department, providing technical support organization wide and looking for ways to improve the services his team provides.
As the service desk manager, Kellam is responsible for coordinating all of CNA's IT support efforts. He supervises the daily duties of the CNA help desk, makes sure all IT requests are handled in a timely manner, and oversees the telephony group. Kellam also handles the audio-visual equipment for CNA including preparation for conference center meetings and set up of video teleconferencing and projectors. "At CNA,” Kellam says, “I get to do what I love to do - help people.”
Recently, Kellam was awarded the 2012 CNA Trustees Award for his outstanding leadership and sustained superior performance. And, in 1992 he was awarded the Mary Ann Pianka Award, which acknowledges a sustained record of excellent support of CNA’s research efforts coupled with harmonious relations with users and colleagues.
Kellam is a U.S. Army reservist. He’s currently a Chief Warrant Officer with the 75th training division at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
