Elizabeth Collins came to CNA to work on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ National Background Check Program. She has 10 years of experience writing and editing a range of document types from news articles to reports. She specializes in health- and medical-related content, which she has enjoyed since beginning her fellowship at the National Cancer Institute during graduate school for journalism.

Prior experience includes managing and editing publications/newsletters of varying lengths and deadlines (from real time to daily, weekly, and monthly) for SmartBrief, FDAnews, and Federal Employees News Digest.

Collins holds a Master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.
