Dinah Sunday joined CNA as an editor in 1988. She has edited research papers and special publications, including biennial reports, brochures, and a full-color handbook for the Department of Health and Human Services. Early on, she developed and taught a copyediting course for secretaries. She served as assistant editor of Currents (CNA’s in-house newsletter) for two years and continues to play a role in its production. Since 1993, she has been a member of the Resource Analysis Division (RAD) and, in 2011, received a RAD Outstanding Performance Award.

Sunday began her editing career in the journal department of the American Psychological Association. Later, she worked as an editor and writer in consulting environments on projects for the Department of Defense, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Energy. In addition to editing research documents and marketing material, she coordinated the preparation of proposals, developed in-house style guides, and supervised support staffs.

Sunday has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from McDaniel College.
