As CFO Luther Lau is responsible for all financial and contractual operations of CNA. He manages the strategic planning, implementation, and management of CNA’s accounting, budgeting, financial planning, financial reporting, financial systems development and operations, treasury functions, and contract administration and procurement. He also oversees the annual consolidated budget and monthly forecasting and analysis.

Prior to joining CNA in 2007, Lau was vice president and controller for Science Applications International Corporation from 1998 to 2007, where he directed all financial operations including accounting, planning, forecasting and analysis, business proposal reviews, and ongoing contract performance assessments for an organization with more than $350M in annual revenues.

His prior experience spans various financial management positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Atlantic Richfield Company.

Lau earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the Marshall School, University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Organizational Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
