Institute for Public Research

The Institute for Public Research provides research and analysis to a diverse array of federal, state, and local government agencies and explores international issues through its China Studies Center.

The Institute for Public Research provides expert, high-level research and analysis services to clients at all levels of government, in the areas of health care, education, domestic security and safety, human capital management, air traffic management, and international affairs.

As a division of CNAC, the Institute for Public Research has built upon the groundbreaking techniques and decades-long experience with the military, to offer services that extend innovation and considerable know-how to non-military government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses and others.

IPR services include not only high-quality research and analysis but also technical support in areas where CNAC has developed special expertise. We work closely with clients, combining scientific methodology with an unqualified commitment to help public policy makers and others understand their problems, find solutions, and convert obstacles into opportunities to improve programs and services.

Two of the greatest challenges facing governments and other institutions are how to effectively manage programs and efficiently deliver services—which in an era of increasing technological challenges and limited budgets have become even more demanding. The Institute for Public Research helps decision-makers meet those challenges by providing them with a true understanding of how programs are working, an impartial analysis of their operational strengths and weaknesses, and clear, actionable information that can be used—not put on a shelf.

CNAC's Institute for Public Research — research that works, for work that matters.
